The Panhandle Geological Society offers scholarships to qualified graduating high school seniors from the Amarillo area intending to major in geology as well as undergraduate or graduate degree students currently enrolled in a geology program in regional universities.
The award is $1000/academic year ($500/semester) and is awarded to four recipients on an annual basis.
